Very Heated Discussion

Very Heated Discussion

Master and Mrs. Po go to “Traditions” restaurant in Martinsburg for breakfast this morning. True to Tradition, laughter continue to plague Master Po.  We enter and are seated by gorgeous fire place with “see through” design to the outside.  Very majestic, indeed – quite comfortable too.

While drinking coffee and tea, (and waiting on food) Master Po alert eye catch look of anguish and worry on Mrs. Po’s face.  He not panic - He not think of cardiac arrest, asthma attack, jewelry malfunction or possible choking. He know from experience Mrs. Po having symptom of something much worse than anything mentioned above – She suffer from dreadful HOT FLASH.

Hot flash common in women of Mrs. Po’s age, but not due to hormonal changes as some might speculate.  Master Po have proof that Hot flash come from being around, and living with same man for such a long time.  Symptoms get much worse when both retire, and spend time at home together during the day.

Symptoms reach peak at night when all blankets must be kicked off bed.  That not surprise Master Po any more though.  Because of “restless leg syndrome” (related to hotflash), Master Po long aware of impending blanket loss, due to kicks into various parts of his body.  This is one case where warning signal much worse than actual event.  Kicks way more uncomfortable than being cold.

Back to breakfast…

Mrs. Po immediately bail out and move to other end of table (further away from fire place) and even waitress become aware of human body about to catch on fire.  Mrs. Po discreetly tell waitress why she must move and all okay until Master Po start to worry….. He wonder if other patrons might think Master Po not shower or maybe pass gas, and Mrs. Po in hurry to get away from him.

So he be sure to tell table of women next to ours about the abrupt chair exchange.

Odd thing about today’s event – Mrs. Po think it is funny and she laugh all of it off – she not give Master Po heated discussion about his tendency to announce personal issues with patrons.  Master Po now worry that Mrs. Po might not be feeling very well – this behavior not normal.
