Color Blind, Master Po

Master Po worried when Mrs. Po return home soon, and see her surprise.  Mrs Po been very busy 6 of 7 days each week, running to Johnstown to help her 90 year old mom who fell on Mother's Day and has been in the hospital (hip surgery) and rehab center since then.  She will return home today if all goes well.

Troubles start two days ago when Master Po (remember, he color blind) paint white table on back patio with two coats of white paint. Today, he open up different can of slightly tan paint to add two coats to front porch (paint left over from previous painting, and the color was picked out personally by Mrs. Po).

When he open can today, he realize half of the tan paint is gone, because he use it by mistake on table. So, table is not white - it is beige,  And today, I panic because not enough tan paint to do whole front porch and steps.

So, I quickly think and add some white paint to make the tan paint go further. Yes, I use the white paint that I SHOULD HAVE USED ON THE TABLE.

I look at color and it is way too white, so I think (am good at thinking, btw) and I add a tad of brown to white paint to try to make beige or tan color.  I mix it and start to apply to porch thinking many happy thoughts, and how surprised Mrs. will be when she see that I paint porch. I apply two coats, with brush and roller. This not easy for old man with bad knees that do not bend.

Paint not look right, so I check the "brown" paint that I added to the can, and it not brown. IT RED!!

So, now I worried. Mrs. Po due home soon, and her surprise, A NEW PINK PORCH!  If locals hear ambulance siren this evening, you will know that Mrs. Po lose it and slug her husband with ball bat.

Pink Porch shown above, (I THINK, IT'S PINK.)

Story not over. Yesterday, I happy to discover Red Salvia flower growing in edge of yard. I not plant Salvia there ever.  I look closer and it not RED SALVIA, It some kind of green tree.  Original Master Po from Kung Fu TV Show is blind. Local Master Po only color blind. Original Master Po can catch fly out of air. Local Master Po have trouble catching huge beach ball tossed gently his way.

Yes, I continue to grow old gracefully.
